Support

A small team reads every message, and you will hear back from a person.

The fastest way is inside the app. Open Profile, tap Support, and write. The reply lands on that same screen, with a dot on the Profile tab when it arrives, so there is no inbox to watch. If you would rather use email, support@braele.app reaches the same person.

Frequently asked

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login, and the name Braele greets you by, if you give one, stays on your phone. The breathing itself works with no connection at all. The app reaches the network for four things: checking a purchase, carrying a support message, sending the usage data described below, and handing a session’s timing to our relay so the Live Activity on your Lock Screen keeps pace.

How do I get help from inside the app?

Profile, then Support. Say what happened and send it. Adding your email is optional and the field starts empty. Leave it blank and the message is kept with the app’s random installation id, so our answer can reach you in the app; nothing on it says who you are. Add one and the message is kept apart from your usage data, and we answer by email as well as in the app.

Which breathing patterns are included?

Nine. Box (4·4·4·4), 4-7-8, the physiological sigh (2·1·7), coherent (5·5), belly breathing (4·2·6), calming (4·6), 7-11, triangle (4·4·4) and energizing (2·2). Box breathing and the physiological sigh are free forever. Braele Pro unlocks the other seven and lets you build your own.

What is Braele Pro?

Every pattern, the pattern builder, and the full ambient library: rain, ocean, brown, pink and white noise. $4.99 a month with the first week free, or $14.99 once and it is yours. Box breathing and the sigh stay free either way.

How do I restore my purchase?

New phone, or after a reinstall: open Profile, tap Braele Pro, then Restore. Sign in with the same Apple ID you bought with, or the store has nothing to hand back.

Which languages does Braele speak?

English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch and Danish. It follows your device, so there is nothing to set.

The haptics aren’t working.

Two places to check: your iPhone’s own Sounds & Haptics settings, and Braele’s, under Profile then Sound & feedback. Low Power Mode also switches haptics off on some devices, which catches people out.

How do reminders work?

Up to three a day, at times you pick, under Profile then Reminders. They are scheduled on the device itself, so say yes when iOS asks about notifications or they have no way to reach you.

Does Braele save to Apple Health?

Only if you let it. Finished sessions are written as mindful minutes, and you can take that permission back in the Health app whenever you like.

What do you collect?

Your practice history stays on the phone: streaks, the calendar, your patterns, the rhythm you built, your name and photo, and the mindful minutes you save to Apple Health. What the app sends to our own server is usage data under a random installation id rather than your name: sessions started and finished, screens opened (the support screens are never kept), purchases started and completed, the reason you pick for breathing and, if you answer it, how you found Braele, along with the app version, whether you have Pro, your device model, iOS version and language, and the two-letter country your connection comes from. Write to support and your message reaches us too, with your email if you add one. RevenueCat checks purchases, Apple’s ad attribution passes on one milestone number, and our Live Activity relay holds a session’s timing until it ends. The privacy policy covers each of these in full.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app takes everything on the phone with it, and its random installation id is gone for good. On our server, usage events are deleted after 180 days, and everything else about an installation 180 days after it last sends anything. Support messages are the exception and stay until you ask. For a message with an email, write to support@braele.app from that address. For anything else, ask in the app (Profile, then Support) without an email, before you delete the app: that message carries the installation id, so we can delete its messages and, if you want, all of its usage data straight away.
